About me

Hi. My favorite thing to do when I have time is sewing. It is something that brings me peace, and having that time to myself really feels great. I love to create things by drawing them out on paper and then making them from fabric. I have made several quilts now that I have entered in our county fair and have won some ribbons. I also love to create my own dolls, and bags, etc.
I use my trusty janome sewing machine that I have owned for quite a while. I do my own quilting with my janome, it can be a bit difficult but I have gotten better at it with experience. My quilts are usually lap size and larger.
I do like using patterns to make clothing, especially vintage patterns. I'm hoping to make children's clothing too.
My quilts are designed by me, often I use a lot of my scrap fabrics to make my quilts. I also really like the modern quilts I see now a days.
I hope with this blog I can inspire others to start sewing more, and hopefully we learn from each other's projects. I welcome any comments or emails from my readers. Happy Sewing! KS
