Classical Music

Good day to you.

Happy Father's Day to the dads of the world. Fathers are very special people. Hope they have a restful Sunday full of love and family.

I'm listening to some classical music while I type. I have always loved classical  music, since I was a child. Playing violin first, then the clarinet made me come to love classical music, concerts, and orchestras. Oh, the thrill of playing in an orchestra. I did that as a teenager in high school, I'll never forget it.

Thank goodness for our public library, where you can go check out music for free. It's Violin Concerto Prelude and Dance from Akhnaten Company, Adele Anthony, Violin and Ulster Orchestra Takuo Yuasa.

As for sewing today, let me show you two pictures of the flannel quilt I just finished today! It's a child's quilt or a baby's quilt.
The texture of this quilt is definitely soft, warm, and cozy,

You can see more pics on my Etsy shop because I plan to sell this one. It is so warm and perfect for cooler months to come.

Sure was fun to make this one because it was time to use up some flannel pieces I had saved. Now it is a very useful article that will make someone feel loved. Who doesn't like a favorite blanket?

Please leave me any comments, or words of encouragement, or any classical music you recommend me to look for. I hope you all have a great Sunday,

Enjoy. Blessings. KS

It has been too long!

Hi.
WOW, OK, WELL, OH, DEAR, HA.., Sorry its been too long. My apologies.
I've been up to my sewing, walking, working, gardening, cooking, shopping, the usual.

So how are you doing? How is your sewing life coming along? As you can tell, sewing is one of my favorite hobbies, what I love to do and sometimes cannot find enough time for it.  Life is full of things to do, isn't it? I guess that is what is good about life, there is always something to do and to get done and somewhere to report to everyday.

Let me tell you, the last project that I completed was a baby quilt, and I got paid for it. I enjoyed making it, and adding it to my sewing earnings. The recipient really loved it, that was greatest part of it.

Here are two of my newly completed little projects, They are little purses, so cute! They were fun to make because I love to do the quilted bag look, it makes these bags very sturdy and functional. See more on my etsy shop.

Here is a picture of my cute and loyal companion. He has aged a bit, getting a wee white around his muzzle, bound to happen. Still cute as a button, don't you think?

My mom loves me!
OK, off I go to lounge around here, but first something that I recently heard,
"In His Presence", a phrase said by my radio pastor a few weeks ago, To be in God's presence when we pray, when we go to church.  Awesome thought to be in the presence of our Lord. That is why today, I got up, got all pretty and wore my finest to go be in the presence of our Lord. So glad I did that, there is no other place greater than in his presence.
Happy Sunday. Keep looking up and smile. KS
